Waiting for Your Ride

You must be ready and waiting in an area that has a clear view of the street 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up.  If you live in an apartment, please wait in the lobby with a clear view of the street.  Your GOVA Plus ride should arrive within the 25 minute On-Time Window.

GOVA Plus Bus Operators will knock on your door, ring your doorbell or buzz your apartment unit but only if they arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled time for pick-up.

At a public facility such as a medical office, school, place of work or hospital, please wait in the common waiting area or as close to the entrance as possible. The GOVA Plus Bus Operator will come in and announce the name of the person they are picking up but only if they arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled time for pick-up or when performing a pick-up at busier locations.

In all instances, GOVA Plus Bus Operators will wait up to five minutes after they arrive for the passenger.

After five minutes, the GOVA Plus Bus Operator will call Dispatch to record a No-Show cancellation.  The Dispatcher will automatically cancel the return portion of the ride unless they receive a call from the passenger to reinstate the return ride booking as scheduled.
