Notice
Effective Monday, October 2, 2023, the kiosk at the Downtown Transit Hub will resume regular hours:
Monday through Friday – 7:45 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This service level adjustment will ensure riders have increased access to pass sales and general information.
Effective Monday, September 25, 2023, Route #3 Laurentian University via Regent and Route #11 Donovan/Collège Boréal will increase weekday frequency from every 60 minutes to every 30 minutes between 6 and 10 p.m.
Detours
GOVA Detour: Friday, September 29
A motor vehicle collision has closed RR 80 at Gauthier Street to Dugas Street in Val Therese (Pizza Hut corner). There is a GOVA detour for route #105 Valley Capreol on both the outbound and inbound trips until further notice. This detour is expected to be in place for most of Friday.
GOVA buses will be detouring around the closure as follows:
Outbound at RR 80 - Right on Jeanne D’arc Street, left on Elmview Drive, right on RR 80 and resume regular routing
Inbound from RR 80 - Left on Elmview Drive, right on Jeanne D’arc Street, left on RR 80 and resume regular routing

From September 28 to September 30, 2023, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., road construction at Frood Road and Lasalle Boulevard will affect Transit route #11 Donovan / Collège Boréal. Inbound service from Collège Boréal will turn left on Boreal Road, right on Cambrian Heights Drive, right on Bruce Avenue, right on Dell Street, continue on Snowdon Avenue, left on Burton Avenue, and then resume regular routing. Inbound bus stops #1530 Burton, #1535 Selkirk and #1540 Humber will not be serviced during this time. Riders in this area travelling to the downtown transit hub should board the outbound route #11 Donovan / Collège Boréal for connection with the detoured inbound service at Collège Boréal.
Cambrian College is hosting an event on Sunday, October 1, between 9:00 a.m. and 1 p.m. During this time, Route #2 Barry Downe/Cambrian and Route #11 Donovan/College Boreal will drop off and pick up all passengers using Barry Downe Road/Lillian bus stop 7100 (entrance to Cambrian College property) and Barry Downe/Lillian bus stop 7095.

Route 1 Main Line
High frequency South End to New Sudbury Centre
Travel pattern: South End Walmart to New Sudbury Centre via Long Lake Road, Paris Street, Notre Dame Avenue and LaSalle Boulevard. Includes a stop at the Downtown Transit Hub, 9 Elm Street.
Frequency (Based on Monday to Friday Travel):
Effective August 29, 2020: Additional high frequency service. To New Sudbury, buses run every 15 minutes between 6:15 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. then every 30 minutes until the end of the service day. To South End, buses run every 15 minutes between 6:15 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. then every 30 minutes to the end of the service day.

Route 2 Barry Downe / Cambrian
High frequency Downtown Sudbury to Cambrian College
“NEW” Route 2 Barry Downe / Cambrian and Route 11 Donovan / Collège Boréal will interline at Cambrian College and the Downtown Transit Hub.
Travel pattern:Downtown Transit Hub, 9 Elm Street to Cambrian College via the Kingsway and Barry Downe Road. Includes a stop at New Sudbury Centre to connect with other routes.
Frequency (Based on Monday to Friday Travel):
To Cambrian College, buses run every 15 minutes between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., then every 30 minutes until the end of the service day. To Downtown Sudbury, buses run every 15 minutes between 6:33 a.m. and 6:22 p.m., then every 30 minutes to the end of the service day.
Weekends: To Cambrian College, buses run every 45 minutes between 7 and 10:00 a.m., every 30 minutes between 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. then every 45 minutes to the end of the service day. To Downtown Sudbury, buses run every 45 minutes between 7:22 and 10:22 a.m., every 30 minutes between 10:22 a.m. and 6:52 p.m. then every 45 minutes to the end of the service day.

Travel pattern: Downtown Transit Hub, 9 Elm Street to Laurentian University via Elgin Street, Brady Street, Riverside Drive, Regent Street, Ramsey View Court and Walford Road. Includes a stop at the main entrance to the Sudbury Outpatient Centre on trips leaving downtown. Passengers entering and leaving the Outpatient Centre can take this bus. Includes a stop at Health Sciences North but does not stop at the main entrance.

High frequency Downtown Sudbury to Health Sciences North and Laurentian University
Effective Saturday, August 26, 2023 route 4 LU via Paris will be reinstated.
Travel pattern: Downtown Transit Hub, 9 Elm Street to Laurentian University via Cedar Street, Elgin Street and Paris Street. Includes a stop at Health Sciences North but does not stop at the main entrance. This is designed to be an express route to Laurentian University with service to Health Sciences North.
Frequency (Based on Monday to Friday Travel):
Every 30 minutes between 7:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.
Key Destination:
Larch Street Medical Centre when travelling to the Downtown Transit Hub from Laurentian University.

Downtown Sudbury to Moonlight at Bancroft, Finlandia Village
Effective August 26th Route 10 Minnow Lake will no longer service Moonlight Beach.
Travel pattern: Downtown Transit Hub, 9 Elm Street to Bancroft Drive and Moonlight Road via Van Horne Street, Howey Drive and Bancroft Drive. Summer route serves Moonlight Beach

Effective August 29, 2020: To Downtown Transit Hub, first bus leaves Bancroft at Moonlight at 6:14 a.m.
First bus departs Downtown Transit Hub at 6:15 am and runs every 30 minutes until 9:15 a.m. Runs every 60 minutes between 10:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Runs every 30 minutes between 2:15 and 5:45 p.m., then every 60 minutes to the end of the service day.

Travel pattern: Downtown Transit Hub, 9 Elm Street to South End Walmart via Wembley Drive, Hyland Drive and Regent Street.
Frequency (Based on Monday to Friday Travel):
Effective August 29, 2020: Return of higher frequency service. First bus to Downtown Sudbury leaves South End Transit Hub at 6:40 a.m. then runs every 30 minutes until 9:15 a.m. Buses run every 60 minutes between 9:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., every 30 minutes between 2:15 and 5:45 p.m. then every 60 minutes to the end of the service day.
Weekends effective August 29, 2020: Buses run every 60 minutes to the end of the service day.
Key Destination:
This bus stops at the corner of Southview Drive and Kelly Lake Road to connect with GOVA Zone partner taxi companies. GOVA Zone service is available on Southview Drive.

Loop to/from New Sudbury Centre
Travel pattern: Loops to and from New Sudbury Centre via LaSalle Boulevard, Falconbridge Highway, Old Falconbridge Road, Graywood Drive and Lansing Avenue. Passengers travelling on Route 1 Main Line must transfer to Route 20 to access neighbourhood routes.

Effective August 29, 2020: Return of higher frequency service. Buses run every 30 minutes between 6:05 and 8:05 a.m., every 60 minutes between 8:05 a.m. and 4:05 p.m., every 30 minutes between 4:05 and 6:05 p.m. then every 60 minutes to the end of the service day.

Effective August 29, 2020: Return of higher frequency service. Buses run every 60 minutes between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., every 30 minutes between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. then every 60 minutes to the end of the service day.

Travel pattern: Serving the Flour Mill, from the Downtown Transit Hub, 9 Elm St., via Cochrane St. to Mont Adam St., Murray St., Bond St., Percy, King St., Mabel Ave., MacKenzie St. and Ste. Anne Rd.
GOVA buses do not service Louis St. during the summer months. Access to Murray St. is provided via Cochrane St. to Mont Adam St.
Summer route bus stops are located at:

Stop 8150 - 117 Mont Adam St.
Stop 8155 - 190 Mont Adam St.
Winter routing in effect Dec 2, 2023
Travel pattern: Serving the Flour Mill from the Downtown Transit Hub, 9 Elm St., via Louis St., Mountain St., Mont Adam St., Murray St., Bond St., Percy, King St., Mabel Ave., MacKenzie St. and Ste. Anne Rd.
GOVA buses do not service Cochrane St. and Mont Adam St. during the winter months due to steep topography. Access to Murray Street is provided via Louis St.
Winter route bus stops are located at:
Stop 1050 – Louis St./Notre Dame Ave.
Stop 1575 – Louis St. /Mountain St.
Stop 1580 - St. Joseph St./Mountain St.
Stop 1585 - Place Regimbal
Frequency (Based on Monday to Friday Travel):
Buses run every 60 minutes between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., Route 27 makes an extra run to the Flour Mill. Service resumes to every 60 minutes at 8 p.m. to the end of the service day.

Buses run every 60 minutes, starting at 7:30 a.m. to the end of the service day.

South End Walmart, Loach's Road, Oriole, Algonquin Road, Countryside Drive.
Travel pattern: Loop to and from South End Transit Hub (Walmart) via Long Lake Road, MacIsaac Drive, Loach's Road, Oriole Drive, Cam Street, Algonquin Road and Countryside Drive. Passengers travelling on Route 1 Main Line must transfer to Route 28 to reach these neighbourhoods.

Frequency:
First bus leaves the South End Transit Hub at 9:35 a.m. running every 60 minutes until 3:35 p.m.
Weekends: Buses run every 60 minutes between 8:20 a.m. and 11:20 p.m.

Route 101 Lively
Downtown Sudbury, Lorne Street
Route 101- Lively will no longer service Larch Street or Dow Drive. Service to residents of Dow Drive will be provided via Stop 2196 and Stop 8490 located on Power Street. Route 13 will continue to service Dow Drive.
Travel pattern: Downtown Transit Hub, 9 Elm Street to Lively via Lorne Street and Copper Cliff. GOVA Zone connections via partner taxi companies from Naughton and Whitefish.
When travelling to the Downtown Transit Hub, bus stops serve Atikameksheng Anishnawbek on Reserve Road, Lakeshore Road and Maani Street approximately two minutes after departing the Naughton Community Centre.
Frequency (Based on Monday to Friday Travel):
First bus leaves the Naughton Community Centre at 5:20 a.m. and then runs every 60 minutes from 7:20 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Buses run every 2 hours between 11:20 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. Buses run every 60 minutes between 1:20 p.m. and 6:20 p.m., then every 2 hours until the end of the service day.
Weekends: First bus leaves the Naughton Community Centre at 7:05 a.m., then runs every 2 hours to the end of the service day.

Route 102 Garson
Travel pattern: Serves Church Street and Orell Street coming into Garson, then follows Falconbridge Highway and LaSalle Boulevard to New Sudbury Centre. Does not travel into Falconbridge. GOVA Zone connections via partner taxi companies to and from Falconbridge and Skead.
Frequency (Based on Monday to Friday Travel):
First bus leaves Garson to New Sudbury Transit Hub at 6:04 a.m., then runs every 90 minutes to the end of the service day. High-frequency service during peak times is no longer available until further notice.
Weekends: First bus leaves Garson to New Sudbury Transit Hub at 6:59 a.m., then runs every 90 minutes to the end of the service day.

Residents of Falconbridge can call 90 minutes ahead for a GOVA Zone connection from their home to the Route 102 Garson bus from Monday to Friday at 10:34 a.m., 12:04 p.m., 1:34 p.m. 3:04 p.m., 9:04 p.m. and 12:04 a.m. and on weekends at 6:59 a.m., 9:59 a.m., 12:59 p.m., 3:59 p.m., 5:29 p.m., 8:29 p.m. and 11:29 p.m.
Residents of Falconbridge also have the option of meeting a GOVA Zone shuttle at a stop at Lindsley and Rix or Longyear and Rix from Monday to Friday at 5:53 a.m., 7:23 a.m., 4:23 p.m. and 5:53 p.m. Door-to-door GOVA Zone service is not available at these times in Falconbridge.
Route 103 Coniston
Loop to New Sudbury Centre
Travel pattern: Loop to and from New Sudbury Centre via the Kingsway, Second Avenue, Bancroft Drive, Marcus Drive and Barry Downe Road.
Frequency (Based on Monday to Friday Travel):
First bus leaves Coniston to New Sudbury Centre at 6:53 a.m., then runs every 90 minutes to the end of the service day. High-frequency service during peak times is no longer available until further notice.
Weekends: First bus leaves Coniston to New Sudbury Centre at 7:48 a.m., then runs every 90 minutes to the end of the service day.

Travel pattern: Routes 105B and 105C have been combined into a single route. Buses serve Outremont Boulevard and Blezard Valley on trips travelling to the Downtown Transit Hub. Buses travel directly to Val Caron, Val Therese, Hanmer and Capreol. GOVA Zone connections via partner taxi companies from Garson, Chelmsford and Municipal Road 15.
Frequency for 105 (Based on Monday to Friday Travel):
First bus leaves Randolph Street in Capreol at 5:30 a.m., then runs every 30 minutes to the Downtown Transit Hub until 8:30 a.m. Buses run every 60 minutes between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., every 30 minutes between 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., every 90 minutes between 7 and 8:30 p.m. and every 60 minutes from 8:30 p.m. to the end of the service day. From Downtown Sudbury, first bus leaves the Transit Hub at 6:15 a.m. then runs every 30 minutes until 7:45 a.m., every 60 minutes between 7:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., every 30 minutes between 12:45 and 7:45 p.m. and every 60 minutes from 7:45 p.m. to the end of the service day.
Weekends: First bus leaves Randolph Street in Capreol at 6:45 a.m., then runs every 2 hours to the Downtown Transit Hub until 10:45 a.m. and every 60 minutes from 10:45 a.m. until the end of the service day at 10:45 p.m. From Downtown Sudbury, first bus leaves the Transit Hub at 6 a.m. then runs every 2 hours until 10 a.m., every 60 minutes between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., every 2 hours between 8 and 10 p.m. then every 90 minutes from 10 p.m. to the end of the service day at 11:30 p.m.
