Campgrounds and Trailer Parks

This past winter, Greater Sudbury experienced unprecedented snow levels and, more recently, flooding in many areas, including in close proximity to municipal campgrounds.

Centennial Park Campground will not open as scheduled. The campground opening is delayed due to significant flooding after the winter season. 

Crews are completing cleanup at the site to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for campers. The next update will be shared on May 21, 2026. 

Ella Lake Campground will open on May 15, 2026. Whitewater Campground will open to campers on May 21, 2026.
