Did you know that a Marriage Licence is required to get married in Ontario? The City of Greater Sudbury issues marriage licences for all eligible couples and welcomes couples of all genders.
- The marriage ceremony must take place within three months of the date of issue of the Marriage Licence.
- The current Marriage Licence Fee is $155 and is non-refundable, payable by cash, credit card or debit card.
Marriage Licences are issued from the Vital Statistics Office of Clerk’s Services, 2nd Floor, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury and Citizen Services Centres between the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday by appointment only.
