The Kin Park Playground on 2732 Langdon Street in Blezard Valley now offers an accessible playground thanks to contributions from the Trillium Foundation, an agency of the Government of Ontario.

The City of Greater Sudbury is proud to announce the launch of its Open Data Portal which will provide residents access to Greater Sudbury’s municipal government data and information in an effort to foster a transparent and open government.  Open data is considered one of the four pillars of the open government model adopted by Greater Sudbury Council in March 2015: open data, open information, open dialogue and open doors.

Treat the family to an all-day blueberry pancake breakfast this Saturday at The Market. Blueberry Blast is an annual Blueberry Festival event, sponsored by Sudbury Credit Union, and will feature live bands, face painting, clowns and more. 

The City of Greater Sudbury will host a public information session for area residents of William and Joseph Avenues and Alexander Street on Thursday, July 16, at the T.M. Davies Community Centre.

Members of the media are invited to join Mayor Brian Bigger and Business for the Arts as they celebrate the launch of artsVest in Greater Sudbury. The 2015 and Arts and Culture Program Grant recipients will also be recognized. 

City of Greater Sudbury invites media to attend an event to announce the opening of the Kin Park Accessible Playground. Ward 5 Councillor Robert Kirwan, MPP France Gelinas and Trillium Representative Suzette Gauthier will be delivering remarks. 

Water main flushing and cleaning in Capreol will begin Monday, July 13 at 12:01 a.m., and continue until Thursday, July 30. All work will take place from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.
