A collision between a garbage truck and another large vehicle has closed southbound lanes on Falconbridge Road between Frobisher Street and the Kingway until further notice.

In order to reduce the chance of having a bear visit your property, the City of Greater Sudbury is encouraging residents to be extra vigilant in respect to garbage. 

Kingsway: Curb, sidewalk grinding and paving will continue to reduce traffic on the Kingsway, daily between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. during the week of August 4-7. Work will move to between the Nissan dealership and the Brady Extension to Paris Street. Either the east or west bound lane will be reduced to one lane of traffic.

Grinding operations at the intersection of Highway 69 North (MR 80) in Val Caron at Main Street will take place overnight starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 30.

Bell will be conducting fibre optic work on Notre Dame Ave., just south of Lasalle Blvd., resulting in the north bound curb lane being closed today until 3 p.m.
