Greater Sudbury Nepalese Community Reserve their Spot on the Bridge of Nations

Aug 5, 2015

The Ambassador to Nepal, Kali Pokhrel as well as members of the Nepalese community of Greater Sudbury, present a cheque for $1200 to Mayor Brian Bigger and the Bridge of Nations Committee co-chair, Ursula Sauve. The money will be held in trust by the City of Greater Sudbury to reserve a spot on the bridge for the flag of Nepal for the third and final phase of the Bridge of Nations. For phase 3, the City is looking at adding an additional 10-18 flag poles.

The City invites countries and nations who would like their flag represented on the Bridge of Nations to call 3-1-1 for more information.
