City of Greater Sudbury Offering Free Sports Program for Children Ages 6 to 9: The City of Greater Sudbury is excited to announce the return of the Feel Free to have a Ball program for a fall session. This program has been made possible through a grant from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport. Feel Free to Have a Ball will provide youth aged 6-9 an opportunity to learn and participate in traditional and emerging ball sports in a fun, safe and non-competitive environment.

The arena is reopening after having been closed for rehabilitation over the 2014-2015 season.

Graywalk Buffalo Ranch will also be at The Market with savoury bison meat pies, packed full of flavour.

City of Greater Sudbury to Conduct Water Study in the Whitson River: On Tuesday September 1 or Wednesday September 2, depending on weather conditions, the City of Greater of Sudbury will place a safe, environmentally-friendly fluorescing red dye into the Whitson River, downstream of Lavallee Road where Azilda Creek meets the Whitson River. The dye will temporarily turn the water a reddish-colour.
