Reminder: Citizens Invited to Participate in 2016 Budget Consultation

As part of the City’s commitment to long-term fiscal sustainability, the Finance and Administration Committee is looking for your feedback and ideas for the 2016 municipal budget. The committee will hear these ideas at a community consultation scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at 4 p.m. in the Council Chamber of Tom Davies Square.
Residents wishing to make a presentation to the Finance and Administration Committee must register with the Office of the City Clerk by calling 3-1-1 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Finance and Administration Committee will hear presenters in the order they appear on the speakers' list. Presenters are asked to limit their remarks to five minutes to provide as many people as possible an opportunity to share their comments.
Those who cannot attend the September 16 meeting are welcome to submit written comments online at www.greatersudbury.ca/budget, beginning Tuesday, September 1. Forms are also available at your local Citizen Service Centre. Written submissions will be accepted until end of day, on Friday, September 18, 2015.
All written comments will be provided to the Finance and Administration Committee for review.
