City of Greater Sudbury Offering Free Sports Program for Children Ages 6 to 9

The City of Greater Sudbury is excited to announce the return of the Feel Free to have a Ball program for a fall session. This program has been made possible through a grant from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport. Feel Free to Have a Ball will provide youth aged 6-9 an opportunity to learn and participate in traditional and emerging ball sports in a fun, safe and non-competitive environment.

There is no cost to register for the program and a nutritious snack will be provided at each session.

The program will run once a week, for an hour and half, every Saturday or Sunday for eight weeks beginning September 26, 2015.

The program will be available at the following locations:

Saturdays:
Dowling Leisure Centre
Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre
Lansdowne Public School
St. Francis Catholic School

Sundays:
Algonquin Public School
Churchill Public School
École Ste-Marie
Walden Public School
