City Begins Snow Removal in Downtown Sudbury

The City will perform snow removal in Downtown Sudbury to widen traffic lanes and improve access to parking from Tuesday, January 15 to Friday, January 18. Work will be completed overnight between midnight and 8 a.m. in each scheduled area.  Snow removal is subject to weather conditions.

Traffic Update- Paris Street

Paris Street, Sudbury- Rock scaling and ditching will close the right hand southbound lane and turn lane on Paris Street between Facer Street and Boland Avenue on Thursday, January 10 and Friday, January 11. Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Traffic Update- Elm Street

Sign City will be closing the west bound curb lane in front of 62 Elm Street on Wednesday, January 9 for a new sign installation. Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Adanac Ski Hill will open for the season on January 4, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Traffic Update- Prete Street

Prete Street, Sudbury- Water main installation will close Prete Street on the north side of York Street on Thursday, January 3 to Friday, January 25. One lane will also be closed on York Street for the duration of the installation. Traffic control will be in place.
