Planned Opening for Lively Ski Hill on January 16

The wait will soon be over for skiers and snowboarders. Lively Ski Hill is scheduled to open on Wednesday, January 16, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

 Historically, opening dates for the Lively Ski Hill have ranged from as early as December 27 to as late as January 17, depending on weather conditions.

To safely open, Lively Ski Hill requires a sufficient amount of natural and man-made snow on the ski runs and ski lift loading and unloading areas. Consistent daily temperatures of -15 C and below are needed for the snow making system to be effective.
