Traffic Update - January 22

Elm Street, Sudbury: Repairs to the exterior of the Federal Building on Lisgar Street will close the east bound curb lane on Elm Street, at the corner of Lisgar Street, starting on Saturday, January 23. Pedestrian access will be closed along Lisgar Street from Elm Street to Cedar Street. Work will continue 24 hours a day until repairs are completed.
 
Tom Davies Square Underground Parking, Minto Street Entrance: Ongoing construction at the Bell Canada building on Minto Street will result in the closure of the ramp to the underground parking at Tom Davies Square starting on January 23. Barricades and signs will be posted. Those parking underground maintain access via the Paris Street entrance. Work will be done between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on January 23, 30, 31, February 14 and 20.

*Revised date* Lasalle Boulevard, Sudbury: A private contractor will be conducting cleaning, maintenance and repairs to a series of manholes on Lasalle Boulevard, from January 25 to 27. The east bound curb lane will be closed as work is done, starting at Montrose Avenue and moving towards Holland Road. Work will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
 
Long Lake Road, Sudbury: A private contractor will be conducting preparations for the installation of fibre optics on Long Lake Road resulting in the closure of the south bound curb lane between Harrison Drive and St. Charles Lake Road on January 25. Work will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Bridge Inspections, Chelmsford and Blezard Valley: Bridge inspections will result in temporary lane closures on January 25 and 26. Lane closures will be alternating. Work will be done at the following locations and dates, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

January 25 - MR 15, 0.8 km  North of Main Street, Chelmsford
January 25 - MR 15, 2.4 km North Main Street, Chelmsford
January 26 - MR 15, 2.3 km West of MR 80, Val Caron
