City of Greater Sudbury Moves Forward in Bid for Summer Games

The Canada Games Council has confirmed that the City of Greater Sudbury will move forward in the bid process to be the host community for the 2021 Canada Summer Games. The decision follows the visit by the Games Council’s Technical Review Committee to the city in August, during which they were shown over 20 potential sport, non-sport and Games Village proposed venues.

Greater Sudbury Transit Detours for Route 501 and 502 (Riverside Drive)

Bridge rehabilitation continues on Riverside Drive which will require a full road closure, between Cross Street and Kilpatrick Street, starting September 7. Greater Sudbury Transit Routes 501 and 502 will detour around the road closure.
