Construction Notice - March 25, 2024
St. Charles Lift Station Upgrades
The City of Greater Sudbury will be completing wastewater improvements on the St. Charles Lift Station located at 245 St. Charles Street, Sudbury.
Construction by the City’s contractor, Industra Construction Corporation, will begin March 2024, and is expected to be completed April 2026.
Work will typically take place during daylight hours Monday to Friday. Weekend or night work may be required.
Current Construction Details:
- Existing museum office building demolition and removal
- New concrete lift station including process piping, mechanical equipment and associated electrical and controls work
- Site work including new sanitary maintenance holes, sanitary sewers, and connection to the existing watermain on St. Charles Street
- Site restoration work
