Sanitary Sewer Lining, Various Locations
The City of Greater Sudbury will continue to prepare for sewer lining work on your street.
Construction by the City’s contractor, Insituform Technologies Ltd., began in October 2025, and will continue to be carried out in phases over two construction seasons, with completion expected in fall 2026.
Work will typically take place during daylight hours Monday to Friday. Weekend work may be required.
During construction, please be aware that you may experience odours (smells like plastic or glue) from the new sewer liner being installed on your street. Over time the odours will diminish as the liner is completed.

Current Construction Details:
- The contractor will clean sewer pipes in the City’s right-of-way.
- The contractor will then also line sewer pipes in the City’s right-of-way.
