Pre-Engineering Work Notice - July 4, 2025
Lively Infrastructure Improvements
The City of Greater Sudbury will be completing investigation work in advance of proposed road, water and wastewater improvements in Lively at various locations.
This project is part of the Council-approved Capital Project for Lively Infrastructure Improvements, which has also received both Federal and Provincial funding.
Once detailed design has commenced, affected property owners will receive a notice with more information about the work.
Investigation Details:
- Marking the locations of underground utilities, such as gas, water and cable so the construction work does not interfere with these utilities
- Soils investigation will be completed to determine sub-soil surface conditions and characteristics
- Camera inspection of sanitary sewer mains, lateral services and maintenance structures
- Camera inspection of storm sewer mains and catch basin structures
