Kingsway, Sudbury
Road Rehabilitation and Active Transportation Improvements
The City of Greater Sudbury will continue the road, storm sewer and watermain improvements on the Kingsway, between Silver Hills Drive to Falconbridge Road, in Sudbury.
Construction by the City’s contractor, Interpaving Limited, will start April, 2023 and will be phased over the 2023 and 2024 construction seasons.
Work will take place Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Night work may be required.

Construction Details:
- Cycle infrastructure upgrades (Introduction of “off road” cycle tracks)
- Asphalt paving
- Introduction of new curb and sidewalks on both sides between Barry Downe Road and Falconbridge Road
- Pedestrian upgrades to comply with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act
- Storm sewer improvements
- Watermain improvements
- Lighting upgrades
- Traffic signal replacement
- Surface asphalt to be placed in spring 2024
