Road Reconstruction - David Street & Marion Street, Sudbury
The City of Greater Sudbury is planning road, storm and water/wastewater improvements on David Street, between Paris Street and the west end and Marion Street, between
McNaughton Street and the north end in Sudbury.
This project is part of the Council-approved Capital Project for Roads with Water/Wastewater and Storm Improvements in junction with the complete streets policy.
Project Highlights:
- Road reconstruction including new watermain and sanitary sewer complete with services to lot line,
- Installation of new concrete sidewalk, curbs, and storm
- Placement of new asphalt
The purpose of the meeting is to inform the residents of the upcoming project, present the final design that has been tendered and explain how your feedback was incorporated. The project team is looking for further comments now that a Contractor has been selected.
During detailed design, the storm system from David Street to Ramsey Lake through Paris Street, McNaughton Street and Ramsey Road was found to be inadequate in size. Therefore, replacing the storm sewer with a larger pipe has been included in this project.
