Capreol Trunk Storm Sewer Upgrades
Crescent and Ormsby Avenues, Capreol

The City of Greater Sudbury will be completing road and water/wastewater improvements on Crescent and Ormsby Avenues, between Young and Dennie Streets, Capreol.

Construction by the City’s Contractor, Teranorth Construction & Engineering Limited, will begin August, 2023 and is expected to be phased over three construction seasons, with completion expected in August 2025.

Work will typically take place during daylight hours, Monday to Friday. 
The final asphalt will be completed in July 2025. 

Construction Details: 

  • Storm sewer upgrades to reduce flooding.
  • Sanitary sewer upgrades to replace aging infrastructure.
  • Watermain upgrades to replace aging infrastructure.
  • Road reconstruction, including curbs and sidewalks.

This project is part of the Council-approved capital project plan for Dennie Street and Crescent Avenue. It includes improved stormwater conveyance and storm sewer improvements to reduce the risk of flooding.
