Nominations for the Municipal and School Board Election opens Monday, May 2, 2022.
The deadline for a candidate to file their nomination for municipal or school board office is Friday, August 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
Those who are satisfied that they meet the prescribed requirements, as set out in the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, and wish to campaign for office must first file a Nomination Paper with the Clerk of the City of Greater Sudbury. A nomination fee must also be paid at this time, which can be made by debit, credit card, certified cheque or money order payable to the "City of Greater Sudbury".
