Professional Learning Supports

CGS Children Services offers various professional learning opportunities and capacity building supports to local EarlyON and child care service providers. In doing so, CGS supports developing and enhancing quality while ensuring quality within the early years and child care system in our communities. 

Capacity Building Supports include:

Communities of Practice

Educators come together to reflect, share their experiences and build support networks for their practice.

Coaching & Mentoring including the Pedagogical Leadership Program

Provides support to build confidence in educators and themselves as leaders. Creates opportunities for professional development and growth.

Site Visits

Provides an opportunity for observation, reflection, and collective thinking on what supports may be required to support the vision of each program.

Professional Learning Events

A variety of different workshops, webinars, and guest speakers are offered based on the needs of the sector.
