Decisions on Planning Applications

Planning Services staff will review the applications and prepare a report with a recommendation on whether the applications should be approved or denied.

The appropriate committee will consider the report and recommend to:

  • approve the applications with or without changes,
  • deny the applications or
  • defer its decision until additional information is received.

Get Notified of Planning Application Decisions

Most Planning Applications

In order to receive a notice of the decision on most planning applications you must provide a written request to the City Clerk:

Consent Applications

In the case of a consent application you must make your request to the Consent Official:

Minor Variance Applications

In the case of a minor variance application your request must be made to the Secretary Treasurer for the Committee of Adjustment:
