The Peter Schneider Concert Series has been a highlight of Greater Sudbury’s summer, filling Bell Park with free, live music every Sunday evening. From June through August, the vibrant sounds of local and seasoned musicians have delighted audiences of all ages. With an eclectic list of performers every Sunday at 7p.m, the concerts have become a beloved tradition for the Greater Sudbury community to come together and enjoy the magic of live music.
The Peter Schneider Concert Series is named in honour of Peter Schneider, a cherished local music educator and multi-talented instrumentalist who established the festival in 1996. Fondly referred to as "Mr. Music," Schneider dreamed of creating a community event that would highlight the scenic beauty of Bell Park and unite people through the joy of music.
Now, the City of Greater Sudbury is thrilled to invite local musical entertainers to be part of the 2026 concert season! This is your chance to shine on stage, share your music with a family-friendly audience, and make lasting memories in one of the most beautiful settings in the city.
