Community Services Committee Approves Increased Security Measures at Transit Centre

The Community Services Committee recommended Council approve an additional full time guard be on duty at the Greater Sudbury Transit Centre during operating hours.

Kingsway, Sudbury- The relocation of Hydro poles will cause intermittent lane closures in both directions on the Kingsway from the Toyota dealership to the Auto Depot on Tuesday, July 10 to Friday, August 10. Work will be done from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Regular hours for lifeguard supervision at municipal beaches will resume and cooling centres will close on Friday, July 6.

Lorne Street, Sudbury- Manhole repairs will close the westbound curb lane on Lorne Street between Byng Street and 715 Lorne Street on Thursday, July 5 until midnight on Friday, July 6. Traffic control is in place.
