Municipal Lifeguards Resume Regular Hours on Friday, July 6

Regular hours for lifeguard supervision at municipal beaches will resume and cooling centres will close on Friday, July 6. The City of Greater Sudbury extended hours for lifeguard supervision and opened community centres earlier this week in response to a heat warning issued by Public Health Sudbury & Districts.

Starting Friday, lifeguards are on duty at municipal beaches seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Greater Sudbury Public Libraries are open during regular operating hours and may be used to shelter from the heat. Hours vary at each branch. For information visit www.sudburylibraries.ca
