Free Passes for Greater Sudbury Transit Encourage Youth to Ride the Bus on Us

Local youth ages 12 to 24 are eligible to receive a free Greater Sudbury Transit five-ride card this summer. Now in its tenth year, the Ride the Bus on Us program encourages young people to take part in community programs and to familiarize themselves with the public transit system.

Five-ride transit cards are distributed first come, first served at all Greater Sudbury Public Libraries and through local social service agencies, starting Friday, July 6. To be eligible, youth must present their library card or photo identification to register for a library card. The program limit is one five-ride card per person.
