Group Benefits Plan
The City of Greater Sudbury is requesting proposals for an insurance company to deliver our comprehensive portfolio of employee group insurance benefits.
Attached is the subject proposal that must be submitted using the address label sheet provided to the City of Greater Sudbury, Purchasing Section, 2nd Floor, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury NO LATER THAN 1:30:00 p.m., (our time) on Thursday, May 4, 2017.
Proposal documents may be downloaded free of charge from the City’s website www.greatersudbury.ca/tenders/ or may be picked up at the City of Greater Sudbury, Purchasing Section, 2nd floor, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury, for a non-refundable fee of $28.25 ($25.00 plus HST).
Proposals will be opened by the Purchasing Section at the tender opening meeting, the same day and at the same address at 2:30 p.m., on the 1st Floor in committee room C-13A. The names of Proponents having submitted a Proposal in response to this Bid Solicitation shall be posted to the City’s tender webpage within three business days of the opening.
Communications/Official Point of Contact
The official point of contact for this Bid Solicitation is Agnes Beck, Purchasing Agent and all communications with the City during the procurement process shall be through the official point of contact. Proponents shall not contact any other persons including Members of Council, City employees or consultants retained by the City regarding this Request for Proposal. All communication (including clarification required from a technical perspective and/or from a purchasing perspective) between the CGS and prospective vendors MUST BE in written format via email or fax. To facilitate comprehensive responses, proponents are encouraged to email their questions as soon as possible to email@example.com or fax to 705-671-8118. The deadline for questions is no later than 12:00 p.m. (our time) Tuesday, April 18, 2017. No verbal instructions or verbal information to Proponents will be binding on the CGS.
