Request for Proposal for Design,
Engineering Services for a Quad Lift,
Adanac Ski Hill, 744 Beatrice Cres., Sudbury
The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking proposals for a turnkey project to remove the existing ski lift from the hill and to design, fabricate, assemble and provide construction services for installation, integration and licensure for public operation of a Quad Chair Lift at Adanac Ski Hill, 744 Beatrice Cres., Sudbury, ON through a CCDC14-2013 Design Build Contract.
An optional information meeting has been scheduled to take place at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Adanac Ski Chalet, 744 Beatrice Crescent, Sudbury, ON. Proponents are to confirm their intention to attend in Sudbury, by sending an e-mail to email@example.com referencing CLS17-105 attendance for optional information meeting.
Proposal documents may be downloaded free of charge from the City’s website www.greatersudbury.ca/tenders/ or may be picked up at the City of Greater Sudbury, Purchasing Section, 2nd floor, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury, for a non-refundable fee of $11.30 ($10.00 plus HST).
The subject proposal must be submitted using the address label sheet provided to the City of Greater Sudbury, Supplies & Services Section, 2nd Floor, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury NO LATER THAN 1:30:00 p.m., (our time) on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
Proposals will be opened by the Tender Opening Sub-Committee, the same day at 2:30:00 p.m., in Committee Room C-13A, 1st Floor, Tom Davies Square. Please be advised only the names of those Proponents who have submitted a proposal will be released at the meeting. Information regarding pricing or contents of the proposal submissions will not be provided.
Communications/Official Point of Contact
The official point of contact for this Bid Solicitation is Agnes Beck, Purchasing Agent, and all communications with the City during the procurement process shall be through the official point of contact. Proponents shall not contact any other persons including Members of Council, City employees or consultants retained by the City regarding this Request for Proposal. All communication (including clarification required from a technical perspective and/or from a purchasing perspective) between the CGS and prospective vendors MUST BE in written format via email or fax. The deadline for questions is 12:00 noon, Tuesday, February 21, 2017. No verbal instructions or verbal information to Proponents will be binding on the CGS Website.
