MR 55, Copper Cliff- A bridge deck inspection as part of the CPR Westbound bridge rehabilitation will result in a single lane closure on MR 55, 500m west of Power Street on Tuesday, March 27. Work will be done from 9 am and 3 p.m. and one lane will remain open at all times.

- Traffic Update- Maley Drive Extension Project

Maley Drive Extension Project, Sudbury- Blasting operations near MacDonald-Cartier high school and Collège Boréal will result in intermittent traffic stoppages on Lasalle Boulevard near the Notre Dame Avenue intersection on Sunday, March 25. Blasting operations will be completed at 9 to 9:15 a.m., 1:30 to 1:45 p.m. and at 6 to 6:15 p.m. Flag persons will be on-site managing traffic during those times.

MR 55, Copper Cliff- Debris clearing will delay traffic intermittently in both eastbound and westbound lanes on MR 55 from 1 km west of Kelly Lake Road to Balsam Street on Thursday, March 22 to Friday, June 1. Access to businesses and residences in the area will be maintained.

- Traffic Update- The Elgin Street Pedestrian Underpass Rehabilitation Project

The Elgin Street stairs will be reopened starting on Thursday, March 22 to allow for the final guardrail installations on the Elgin Street ramp. The ramp will be intermittently closed while work in ongoing with flaggers present to allow for wheel-chair access.

The City received $2.2 million for the April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2017, fiscal year from revenues generated by the OLG Slots at Sudbury Downs. Since 2001, Greater Sudbury has received more than $39 million in non-tax gaming revenue for hosting OLG Slots at Sudbury Downs.
