Traffic Update- The Elgin Street Pedestrian Underpass Rehabilitation Project

The Elgin Street stairs will be reopened starting on Thursday, March 22 to allow for the final guardrail installations on the Elgin Street ramp. The ramp will be intermittently closed while work in ongoing with flaggers present to allow for wheel-chair access.

Pedestrians are encouraged to use the overpass bridge from Elgin Street at Nelson Street to Edmund Street while work is being completed. Detour signs will be in place to help direct pedestrians.
