The Elgin Street Greenway
Phase 2 of the Elgin Greenway Project makes up a portion of the work being completed along Elgin Street this summer in Downtown Sudbury.
Once completed, the Elgin Greenway will provide a beautiful new face to the downtown and create a shared-use trail connecting the downtown to Ramsey Lake, the hospital, Laurentian University and beyond.
It will connect the active transportation infrastructure between the institutional hubs in the north with the attractions in the south, bringing more people to Downtown Sudbury.
The Paris-Notre Dame Bikeway
Work will be continuing to implement road improvements on Paris Street and Notre Dame Avenue, between Ste. Anne Road and Van Horne Street, in Sudbury.
This work is part of the construction of the Paris-Notre Dame Bikeway, a major piece of active transportation infrastructure connecting Downtown Sudbury with other parts of the city.
Event Centre
The new Event Centre is under construction. This state-of-the-art facility will be a premier destination for concerts, sporting events, community gatherings and other unforgettable experiences in Northern Ontario.
