COVID-19 Update – July 16, 2021
|As of Friday, July 16, Greater Sudbury will enter step three of the Province’s Roadmap to Reopen. The roadmap outlines a three-step plan to safely and gradually ease public health measures and reopen the province.
Seven municipal beaches are open with lifeguard supervision from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
Spring Phosphorus Results
The 2020 spring phosphorus value for Lake Nepahwin is 19.2 µg/L. The average total spring phosphorus for Lake Nepahwin since 2001 is 13.7 µg/L which falls below the Provincial Water Quality Objective of 20.0 µg/L and indicates that this lake is likely mesotrophic.
