COVID-19 Update – June 11, 2021

As of Friday, June 11, Greater Sudbury will enter step one of the Province’s Roadmap to Reopen. The roadmap outlines a three-step plan to safely and gradually ease public health measures and reopen the province. 

Seven municipal beaches are set to open with lifeguard supervision beginning Saturday, June 19, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

The following is a list of the documented aquatic plant species in Lake Nepahwin:

  • Eurasian Milfoil (invasive species)
  • Hardstem Bulrush
  • Leatherleaf
  • Pickerelweed
  • Sweet Gale
  • White Water Lily
  • Yellow Pond Lily
