Your Four Step Guide to Getting Started

GOVA Pass is here!  The new GOVA Pass mobile app is now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store .

Need help getting started? If you require a reduced fare or assistance setting up your account, GOVA Transit Ambassadors and Transit Kiosk staff are available at the Downtown Transit Hub to:

• Help create your account
• Confirm eligibility for reduced fares/Take Photo I.D.
• Answer questions and provide support

The app can be downloaded for free and there are no extra costs or administrative fees for purchasing passes through the app.

The GOVA Pass app lets riders securely purchase and store bus passes on their smartphone, with added features of real-time bus schedules and arrivals—all in one place.

Plans are underway to update and improve real time search capabilities by adding bus stop numbers, trip planning features and alerts.

To purchase bus passes or ride cards through the GOVA Pass app, passengers must first register. Adult fare riders can create their account directly in the app, while concession fare riders will continue to visit the Downtown Transit Hub Kiosk to verify eligibility and set up their account.

Transit Photo ID cards are still required for concession riders, but for app users, these cards are now digital and can be accessed anytime in the “Settings” section.

Once registered, riders can purchase 1-ride, 6-ride cards, and 31-day passes tailored to their fare category. All fares are stored in the “My Passes” section for quick and easy access.
