GOVA Pass Policies

GOVA Pass mobile app and smart card passes are the property of the City of Greater Sudbury and are non-refundable. 

Misuse, alteration or reproduction of GOVA Passes or alteration of phone settings may result in immediate pass confiscation, account deactivation or denial of access to service under the Trespass to Property Act

Passes purchased through the GOVA Pass app are intended for individual use only and cannot be shared. Accounts and wallets (passes) are tied to the device on which they were created and purchased, and they cannot be transferred to or used on another device. 

GOVA Transit is not responsible for lost or stolen fare media GOVA passes must not be shared, altered or reproduced in any fashion. 

Proof of eligibility is required for reduced concession fares. 

Violations of this policy may result in permanent deactivation of GOVA Pass mobile app and smart cards.
