Toxic Taxi
Residential and non-residential roadside waste collection services will be rescheduled. Please do not place garbage, green carts or blue boxes at the roadside, as this may impact road clearing efforts. Alternate pickup dates will be communicated once available. We will provide an update once bulky item collection service has been restored.
Due to the winter storm event, furniture, appliance and electronic collection services are also temporarily suspended. Please do not place these items at the roadside, in laneways or on top of snowbanks, as they may impact snow clearing operations.
New Green Cart requests have also been suspended.
All landfill sites and the Recycling Centre are closed.
If you have household hazardous waste that you can’t deliver to the depot yourself, schedule a Toxic Taxi appointment for free home collection!
For safety reasons, the Toxic Taxi will not pick up waste if you are not home, or from the roadside.

Toxic Taxi hours of operation
The Toxic Taxi operates, as required, Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. (excluding statutory holidays).
