Preparing your household hazardous waste for drop-off or collection

All waste must be clearly labelled and in sealed containers with secured lids. Containers will not be returned to you.
Remember to secure your load and check for leaks.
Do not mix different products together.
Use the original container, where possible.
Syringes must be in a puncture-proof container.
Please separate waste by type (i.e. oil with oil, paints with paints, etc.) to allow for ease of identification, handling and unloading by staff.
Vehicles will be unloaded by trained staff on site.

Materials will be loaded into the Toxic Taxi by trained staff.
Place the waste items by your door (not at the roadside) no earlier than 8 a.m. on the morning of your scheduled Toxic Taxi collection. You must be home at the time of collection and available to answer questions as needed.
