Interim Property Tax Bills on the Way

Feb 11, 2026

Interim property tax bills have been mailed out. The first instalment is due February 27, 2026, and the second is due March 31, 2026.

More than 27,000 properties in our community receive interim tax bills. They are not sent to properties enrolled in a monthly pre-authorized tax payment plan or to those who have taxes remitted by their mortgage holder.

If you do not receive your interim tax bill by Wednesday, February 18, 2026, please call 311.

There are a number of ways to pay your property tax bill, including:

  • by mail, telephone or internet banking
  • at most banks, trust companies, credit unions and Caisse Populaires
  • through your mortgage, arranged through your mortgage company
  • by enrolling in a pre-authorized payment plan where payments are automatically withdrawn from your bank account either monthly or on the instalment due date
  • in person at your nearest Citizen Service Centre or at the One-Stop Services counter at Tom Davies Square

Online Property Tax Bills

If you have signed up to receive property tax bills online, please log in to your Customer Service Portal account at 311.greatersudbury.ca to access your bill. If you signed up for online billing after January 28, 2026, you will not receive an online bill for your 2026 interim taxes, as paper copies have already been mailed out. Your next property tax bill, which will arrive in the spring of 2026, will be available online.

Residents wishing to receive future property tax bills online can set up an account and enroll for online billing at 311.greatersudbury.ca.

Interim property taxes help fund City services until the final tax bill is collected later in the year.
