City Looking for Community's Feedback on Next Phase of Playground Revitalization
Mar 3, 2026
The next phase of the City of Greater Sudbury’s Municipal Playground Revitalization initiative is underway. Three municipal playgrounds are scheduled for renewal in 2026: Mountainview Playground in Wahnapitae, Thomas Tot Lot in Garson and Whitefish Playground in Whitefish.
We want to hear from you about the renewal of these sites to ensure the playgrounds are designed to meet the needs of your neighbourhood. You’re invited to share your ideas at an open house:
• Mountainview Playground – Wednesday, March 11, 2026, 4 to 7 p.m.
Wahnapitae Community Centre (161 Glenbower Cres., Wahnapitae)
• Whitefish Playground – Tuesday, March 24, 2026, 4 to 7 p.m.
Whitefish Playground field house (25 Paul St., Whitefish)
• Thomas Tot Lot – Thursday, March 26, 2026, 4 to 7 p.m.
