New App Coming Soon to GOVA Plus

GOVA Plus customers will soon have access to new scheduling software. The GOVA Plus app, available October 21, 2024, is an additional tool for riders, offering a more flexible and accessible way to book rides.
The app allows riders to book their rides using a computer or smart device, pay their fare, track their rides and receive live updates on the location of their bus. App users will also receive texts and calls to remind them of their upcoming ride bookings, and following their trip, they will have the opportunity to rate their ride.
Other features of the app include:
• Immediate confirmation of a booking (instead of waiting 24 hours before a booked trip).
• Options if the chosen time is not available.
• Accessible features, compliant with WCAG 2.0 AA standards, and adaptive and compatible with personal assistive technologies.
The GOVA Plus app can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play. Once downloaded, you will be prompted to register. For the desktop version, visit book.govaplus.rideco.com.

Offering technology improvements that support efficient ride booking aligns with the City of Greater Sudbury Strategic Plan to maximize the benefits of technology in service delivery processes to improve the experience for residents and customers.
