Aug 22, 2024

Residents and tourists alike are invited to make the most of the last few weeks of summer, and experience Downtown Sudbury, where world-class dining, unique shopping and captivating entertainment awaits.

“Our downtown core is filled with some of the best spots in Greater Sudbury,” said City of Greater Sudbury Mayor Paul Lefebvre. “It's a great season to take in all that Downtown Sudbury has to offer, and we invite you to discover the vibrant pulse of summer in the downtown – from the bustling market to the lively patios and sensational live performances.”

"Municipal investments in programs like Welcoming Streets have allowed us to shift our focus back toward attracting businesses and creating a more vibrant downtown through events and activities,” said Sudbury Business Improvement Area (BIA) co-chair Kendra MacIsaac. “The Win This Space competition also generated a lot of buzz and interest in downtown retail opportunities with some amazing entrants. It's truly an exciting time for us to be able to concentrate on growing the downtown again."
