Deadline Extended to Apply for the 2022 Peter Schneider Concert Series

The deadline for local musical entertainers to apply for the 2022 Peter Schneider Concert Series has been extended to April 29, 2022.

For over 20 years, new and seasoned musicians have delighted crowds from June to August with free concerts in Bell Park every Sunday evening from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

Performing groups will receive a small honorarium as compensation. Due to limited space available in the program schedule, priority will be given to entertainers who meet the following criteria:

·      Entertainment is appropriate for family audiences

·      Performances present minimal logistical requirements to ensure the concerts can remain a free event for the community

·      Entertainers are representative of the diversity and culture of Greater Sudbury
