Volunteer for the Greater Sudbury Public Library Board of Directors

The Greater Sudbury Public Library Board of Directors is accepting applications for three volunteer positions.

Board members oversee the purpose and operation of the local library system to achieve identified outcomes through planning, policy development and advocacy, in accordance with provincial legislation.

The Board will consider upcoming projects including: revision of operating agreements, identifying strategic priorities, and planning construction of a new main branch of the public library.

Applicants must be age 18 or over, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, a resident of Greater Sudbury and must not be an employee of the municipality. Regular meetings are scheduled 10 times a year for a term of office ending in January 2023.
