- Traffic Update- MR 80- Maley Drive Extension Project

MR 80, Sudbury- Contract number 3 for the Maley Drive Extension Project, which was recently awarded to Teranorth Engineering & Construction Limited will begin work on Monday, February 5. Work will consist of bringing in and setting up equipment, and clearing trees. Impact to traffic is not expected at this time and updates will be provided as the work progresses.

Elm Street, between Ethelbert and Maclachlan, will be reduced to one lane in each direction on Monday and Tuesday, January 29 and 30, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day for road maintenance. Safe access will be provided for pedestrians at all times. Motorists should expect delays.

- Traffic Update- Bancroft Drive

Bancroft Drive, Sudbury- Demolition work will result in intermittent traffic delays to allow for the loading of dump trucks at 1500 Bancroft Drive from Monday, January 22 until Friday, January 26. Pedestrian access will be maintained on the south side of Bancroft Drive. Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and traffic signs will be in place.

Due to milder weather, the City of Greater Sudbury has closed the Queen's Athletic Skating Oval. We will continue work on the surface of the rink so we can reopen it as soon as possible.

Elm Street, Sudbury- Valve chamber repairs will close a lane in each direction on Elm Street at Durham Street from 7 a.m. on Saturday, January 20 until midnight on Sunday, January 22. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained.
