Traffic Update- MR 80 and Notre Dame Avenue, Barry Downe Road, Falconbridge Road and Bancroft Drive

MR 80, Sudbury- Construction operations on MR 80, from Turner Avenue to 2.2 km north for the Maley Drive Extension Project will result in closures in both the northbound and southbound lanes from Friday, January 26 to Friday, February 23. Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m and traffic signs will be in place.
The posted regulatory speed limit has been reduced to 60 km/h and will be in place until the end of June 2018, while this phase of construction takes place. Motorists are urged to slow down through the construction zone.
Notre Dame, Sudbury- Hydro will close the southbound lane intermittently on Notre Dame between Bond Street and Nolin Street. from Friday, January 26 to Wednesday, February 28 to install underground cable. Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Barry Downe Road, Sudbury- Asphalt removal at a water main break location will close the southbound curb lane at 865 Barry Downe Road on Friday, January 26. Work will be done from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Traffic control will be in place.
Falconbridge Road, Sudbury- Asphalt removal at a water main break location will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction on Falconbridge Road at Hudson Street on Friday, January 26. Work will be done from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Traffic control will be in place.
Bancroft Drive, Sudbury, Asphalt removal at a water main break location will close an eastbound lane on Bancroft Drive at Second Avenue on Friday, January 26. Work will be done from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Traffic control will be in place.
