Traffic Update- MR 80 (Notre Dame Avenue), Kingsway, Rowat Street

MR 80- (Notre Dame Avenue), Sudbury- Grading operations will close northbound and southbound traffic for 5 to 15 minute intervals on Notre Dame Avenue from Turner Avenue to 2.2 kilometres north on Saturday, October 28 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and then from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, October 30 to Thursday, November 30. Signs will be posted in each direction.
Motorists are reminded that the posted regulatory speed limit has been reduced to 60 km/h in the construction zone and are urged to slow down. Speeding fines will be doubled when construction workers are present.
Kingsway, Sudbury- Paving work will close the westbound curb lane on the Kingsway from Mazda to Microtel on Sunday, October 29. Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Rowat Street, Sudbury- Final asphalt work will close the intersection of Rowat Street and Lorne Street on Friday Monday, October 30. Motorists are asked to use Bulmer Avenue, Demorest Avenue and Mary Street as alternative routes. Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
