Citizens are reminded of deadlines to submit an application for an Election Compliance Audit of candidates for Mayor, Council and School Board Trustee in the 2014 municipal election.

The City of Greater Sudbury is changing to a more environmentally responsible and cost-efficient residential leaf and yard trimmings collection policy. 

The City of Greater Sudbury has completed the draft version of its Transportation Master Plan and will be presenting the plan to City Council on Tuesday, May 12. The Master Plan is an update from the 2005 study and focuses on a sustainable transportation network for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles along with their projected needs up until the year 2031.

Repairs to railway tracks on Kelly Lake Road have shut the road at the tracks until Saturday morning. All motorists are asked to use alternate routes.

Construction on the Kingsway will begin Monday, May 11 to Friday, May 15, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. between Bancroft Drive and the Nissan dealership.
