Road Report - August 1, 2014

Regent St at Martindale Rd: Police will be controlling the intersection of Regent Street at Martindale Road Tuesday, August 5, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  to complete pulverizing of the existing asphalt throughout the intersection. The operation will take place in one lane at a time.
 
Belevue Drive: Construction will slow westbound traffic Tuesday, August 5, and Wednesday, August 6 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. near 1416 Bellevue Drive. Work will continue Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8, alternating between the westbound and eastbound lanes, and across the full width of road.
 
All work is weather dependent. Should work not be completed we will continue Monday, August 11, and Tuesday, August 12.
 
Big Nickel Road: Blasting and rock removal for road improvements on Big Nickel Road will continue into the month of August from Monday to Friday,  8a.m. to sunset for the entire month.  During this time, Big Nickel Road will be open to one lane of traffic only, with temporary full road closures for up to 30 minutes in duration to accommodate blasting and rock removal.  Motorists are asked to expect delays.
 
Barry Down Road and Lasalle Boulevard: Intermittent lane closures to accommodate line painting will take place Tuesday August 5, from 7a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
