Local Potatoes at The Market this Weekend: August 30 and 31

Looking for fresh ideas? Come to The Market, next to the CP/Via Rail Station at 233 Elgin Street, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment, fresh foods, unique gift ideas and more!

Local potatoes are ready for your table. Come and meet Julie from Penokean Hills Farms, local vendor of hormone and antibiotic-free beef. There’s still time to fill out and drop off your Downtown Passport to Fresh Ideas and enter a draw for a prize package.

On Saturday, join Shine Om Yoga on the outdoor Market stage from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by Danny Shamess, whose music blends several genres including jazz, folk, rock and blues, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Canada World Youth will be in attendance on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shine Om Yoga is back again on Sunday on the outdoor Market stage from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
